Supply Teachers

As in all authorities, supply teachers fulfil a vital function of ensuring the continuation of education. Many of our schools employ supply teachers directly to cover short term absences, and many use various agencies to meet their long and short term supply needs.

Many school advertise longer term supply positions on this website, however we also work in partnership with the Kellis Group who operate our 'Teach in Havering' scheme.

This service has been set up to support the day-to-day and long-term resource requirements of the Havering Primary, Secondary and Special Needs schools and Pupil Referral Units.

If you are a qualified teacher or wish to work as a member of the support staff in the Havering schools, then 'Teach in' provide a service that offers you the chance to find the work you want.
