Sizes vary from one form entry primary to a secondary with 1,300 pupils. Types include community schools, church schools, single sex schools, schools with and without sixth forms and specialist schools for technology, sports, languages, science, performing arts and business and enterprise.
Havering education offers a broad range of schools including Foundation, Community and Voluntary-Aided schools. Together, they provide high educational standards for pupils of all abilities from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. What stands out about all schools in Havering is that they achieve high standards which are rising faster than those nationally.
