Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs)

We currently have 59 primary schools and 18 secondary schools and we recruit approximately 140 NQTs per year. Our NQT induction programme is second to none and we provide professional support for your development and progression all the way through your career.

We operate a pool system for both Primary and Secondary NQTs and the majority of our schools use this service. Once in the pool, your application will be sent to all schools who register suitable vacancies.

NQT Recruitment Process 2012/2013

Primary NQT Recruitment

Apply to our Primary pool

Upon receipt of your completed application, you will be invited to attend generic pool interviews. Application forms must be returned prior to the deadline, before an invitation will be sent.

Secondary NQT Recruitment

Apply to our Secondary pool

Upon receipt of your completed application, your details will be circulated to schools and sent in response to any vacancy advertised. Application forms must be returned prior to the deadline, before details will be made available to schools.
