Headteacher - St Joseph's Catholic Primary School
Required for September 2012 - ISR 18-24 Group 3 NOR 424
The Governing Body seeks to appoint a highly motivated and committed leader for our two-form entry school following the retirement of our Head Teacher in September 2012. Ofsted has rated the school as 'Good' with a number of outstanding features. We are looking for a Head Teacher to build on the progress to date whilst maintaining the loving and caring family atmosphere.
With fantastic children, committed staff and an active governing body, a headship at St. Joseph's Catholic Primary is an exciting opportunity.
You will be a practising Catholic with a clear vision for Catholic education. You will have recent experience of raising standards and a commitment to continue best practice. You will further strengthen the links with both parish and school.
You will:
- sustain and develop the Catholic ethos of the school
- provide strong, visionary leadership and management
- ensure that each child is educated according to their needs, with the highest aspiration for every pupil
- maintain rigorous standards of teaching
- continue to raise children's achievements
- continue to build on the partnerships with parents and the two parishes as well as the Diocese, Local Authority and the local community
- develop the school for the future, guided by the educational mission of the Catholic Church.
