Teachers

Child Care Allowance of £420 (pro rata) per annum per child under five years of age. (Benefit liable to tax and National Insurance)

Costs of furniture removal of up to £1,000*

Loan of up to £1000 towards initial accommodation costs - subject to the Headteachers approval

Pay Scales

Teachers - As a teacher in Havering, you will be paid on the Outer London Pay Scale. NQT’s therefore start on at least £23,118.

Support Staff - There are no set pay scales for support staff, although most schools have signed up to use the model pay structures agreed locally to ensure fair pay.
